So on Wednesday (12/10) me and my fellow Timberliners are headed to New York for a mission trip. We will be witnessing to the homeless and needy people of the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. We will be needing alot of prayer. We do a subway ministry where we are picked to stand on a soap box and just start preaching. Pretty intense. Also we do street and ferry ministry where we just talk to people one-on-one. If you guys would pray for God to prepare our hearts and soften the heart of the New Yorkers to make for a fruitful harvest in Christ. Muchas Gracias.

- Wesley Jamison Cummings
- My name is Wes Cummings and I just graduated from Foothill High School and am currently serving God for a month in Liberia, Africa aboard the Africa Mercy. I will be here from July 6 to August 6 and be home the 7th. Right now my plans for when I get back is to join Torchbearers and go to Timberline Bible School in Winter Park, Colorado. After that I plan on going to the University of Colorado at Boulder and major in Communication/Journalism. Im the oldest of four (two brothers and a sister). My favorite things to do, besides school, is playing baseball, and going surfing and snowboarding with my friends. Im a die hard Angel, USC Trojan and Broncos fan. I love baseball...alot. I plan on using my education at UC to go into sports radio or journalism. Well thats pretty much a taste of who I am.

Hey there Wes,you and your Timberline "team" are in my prayers, for a fruitful mission experience thee in NY.GOD will be in the midst of those people you come in contact, sharing the Gospel..also giving them the message of the birth of Jesus. They will be able to have Hope, Joy, and Love in their hearts and understand the reason for the season."Jesus" is the gift that was given to us! Yeah, it is very cold in NY, this time of year!
